Recipe Ideas for fun: 

               Witches Hat

 

•             Mini Ice Cream Cones or cut a large sugar cone top off. 

•             Sandwich Cookies 

•             Candy

•            Frosting optional 

 

                Fill the Mini Ice Cream Cone with candy

                Separate the sandwich cookie with the cream on one side seal to the cone 

                decorate

       Carmel Apples 

 

• 2 14 oz. bags of individually wrapped caramels

• ½ cup evaporated milk

• assorted Granny Smith apples

• lollipop sticks

• assorted toppings (crushed Oreos, sprinkles, crushed candy)

• large microwave-proof mixing bowl

• wax paper–lined cookie sheet

 

       Prep the fun – Get the Apples on a pan lined with wax paper, put in the lollipop sticks or other sticks you may have found at the store.  Store in t         the frig to get them cold. 

 

      Separate your toppings into bowls 

 

     Remove the wrapping from the Caramels and put in a microwave safe bowl

     Add the evaporated milk 

 

     Microwave for 30 seconds, stir and continue until they are melted and smooth, do not over do or it will not work well.  Total about 2 minutes. 

 

     Have the kids come to the table and take an apple dip in the caramel and show them how you bring in up and down to cover the apple by rolling     the apple. Let sit a minute  then dip and roll in the favorite topping,. You can place candy on it with frosting or before but do before it is          c            completely dry. 

 

                    Have some fun with it and the kids will have fun too.
